Porsche have announced some minor changes to their Boxster range for 2007 - and revealed details of an all new 911 variant - the Targa 4.Let's deal with the Boxster first. Both models get minor power hikes, with the S engine enlarged from 3.2 to 3.4 litres, taking the total power output up to 295bhp, 15bhp up on last year's model.
The base Boxster meanwhile gets a modest tweak to boost output by 5bhp to 245bhp.
Meanwhile 911 fans who can't make their mind up between coupe or convertible have the option of a targa roof. The sliding-glass-roofed variant comes only in All-Wheel Drive, with both 4 and 4S versions on sale. Both have the wider rear track of their fixed head 4wd counterparts, and Porsche's excllent PASM suspension management system comes as standard on the 4S, and as an option on the 4.
The Targas go on sale next month with price tags between £70k and £78k.
